My name’s Thomas Duval and I’m the founder of Jumble Queen.

Every Sunday morning my family gathered around the Sunday newspaper at breakfast and flipped to the games and puzzles section to do the (word) Jumble. The Jumble involved unscrambling letters to form words, and solving the final puzzle using letters from those answers.

As one of us would read the letters aloud, we’d be put on the spot to see who could be first to shout out the answer. While my Father, Brother and I were all decent enough, my Mother was sharper, wittier, and usually the inevitable winner, earning her the title, the “Jumble Queen”.

The best part of this family tradition was how it brought us together from when we were children to this very day, now with our wives and children to join in the fun.

Today, Jumble Queen creates fun, innovative Amazon Alexa skills that bring people together in their kitchens, living rooms, cars and more, using the Alexa platform to carry on that same spirit of interaction, collaboration and coming together.
